Three items. NASA stiff paper photo is 8x10" with text at bottom " Crew of Second Manned Apollo Mission" and shows James Lovell, Jr., William A. Anders and Frank Borman in space suits with Apollo Mission Simulator in background. NASA text on back notes "This IsTthe Second Manned Apollo Crew Scheduled To Be Launched Into Lunar Orbit By A Saturn V". Photo is nicely signed on front in blue ink "To Harry With Best Wishes Bill Anders" and "Jim Lovell". Comes with pair of letters on official "National Aeronautics and Space Council" Washington stationery. Each is typewritten and boldly signed in black ink "William Anders". First is dated December 4, 1969 and is 7x9" mentioning ceremony and enclosing an autographed photo. Second letter is 8x10.5" dated December 10, 1969 thanking writer for articles from his newspaper and mentioning he’ll call if he gets to Pennsylvania and extending best wishes for the holiday season. Second letter has two horizontal folds as mailed and comes with matching business-size envelope postmarked December 12, 1969. All items are Exc.
