Item Description
2.75x3x.75" deep thin cardboard box contains 2" diameter chrome case metal pocket watch by Ingraham. 1935. Box lid has wonderful image of Buck holding space gun with Wilma nearby and futuristic city in distance along with rocket ship. Side panels have different images including Dr. Huer, Killer Kane, space ships, etc. Complete with separate and original cardboard insert in black/gold with additional portraits of Buck, Wilma, Buck’s rocket ship and rocket pistol. Box lid has one corner split but still tight. Color rubs around lid edges but still tight with Near Fine appearance. Insert has a few minor color rubs. VF. Comes with original Ingraham instruction sheet which has been folded as issued and shows some aging. Fine. Watch dial has nice image of Buck holding pistol with Wilma in foreground with her hands at top of circle which holds second hand. Watch has copper luster lightning bolt hands and reverse side has interesting incised image of one-eyed monster carrying shield. Watch has minor surface wear to case back but near full luster remains. Dial is as bright and clean as any we have seen with full bold color. Running and Exc. Wonderful Buck Rogers item.
