Item Description
1930s. Made in Japan, distributed by George Borgfeldt Corp. New York. 4-3/8x5-3/8x2.75" deep thin cardboard box has nice lid graphics of Henry smiling and waving while seated in back of 3-wheel vehicle being driven by young black boy. Lid top shows him with pyramids and palm trees in the background, front and back panel shows him going past mountain range and waving hanky. Box has trace of lt. dust soil, one side panel has 1" split at lower right seam. Plain inside box has small puncture in bottom. Overall box is Fine with bright color and great design. Toy is 5" long tin litho with celluloid figures and wind-up key in left side. Driver's hat has trace of lt. aging and dust soil, otherwise toy is Exc. Working. Scarce toy, especially with box.
