Item Description
8.5x11” thin textured cardboard handbill for The Grateful Dead’s self-titled first album released Mar. 17, 1967. Handbill features Rick Griffin’s album cover art with negative of Gene Anthony’s photograph of the band with Ancient Egyptian imagery around border including double images of the Egyptian God Horus, Ankhs, scarab, an image of the Eye of Horus at top and bottom with human-headed and bare-breasted Sphinx and ram-headed Sphinx at bottom. Lightest trace of aging but N. Mint. Rare.
