14.25x26.5” first printing poster for Oct. 31, 1967 concert at Winterland that featured Quicksilver, The Grateful Dead and Big Brother & The Holding Co. Poster featured collaboration between rock concert poster gods Stanley Mouse, Rick Griffin and Alton Kelley. Main image of poster is photo of Lon Chaney as The Phantom of the Opera with numerous smaller repeated maroon images of Chaney’s face in an acid blotter design on an orange bkg. Handling wear with some creasing at corners but poster still displays Exc. One of the most visual of all vintage concert posters, this poster is highly sought after and extremely desirable. A must for all concert poster collectors as well as collectors of Universal Monster memorabilia. Rare.
