Item Description
The boy mice are Jaq at 10” tall and Gus at 8.5” tall. Each of these has fair number of scattered holes due to insects although largely fully intact. The girl mouse who we believe is Perla as she wears a pink dress is 10” tall. Her head has come loose from the neck area although it will sit back on the wire frame and its looseness is then not at all obvious. The dolls all have black oilcloth eyes on white felt ovals. Jaq is accented by a pair of buck teeth along with yarn hair and a red pullover. Gus also has matching yarn hair and he wears a pale green pullover. Gus has about 4 holes on his body each about 2.25” or smaller and mostly on the legs. There are a couple of tiny ones on his neck and a few larger but again on the back of the head and not showing from the front. His front appearance remains VF with just 2 holes showing on his lower body. Gus has 10 holes on his lower body and hands with 1” open area on the seam of his left arm and a small open spot at the base of his nose. Front appearance is really still not that badly affected by the fabric loss. On the reverse he has .5” hole by his tail and .75” hole where his right leg meets his body although stuffing remains fully intact. Each of these mice have a velveteen tail. The girl mouse is extremely clean although on close inspection there is just a little separation of the fabric around the white eye felts but the interior stuffing blends very well with the facial fabric so this hardly is noticeable. All 3 of these pieces are with a “Charlotte Clark Creation” tag sewn at the ankles. While the scattered holes are obvious regrettable, the pieces still actually display very nicely. The only example of these characters we’ve seen by Charlotte Clark and we aren’t aware of other dolls for them either. Comes with notarized statement and Hake’s COA. See item #2200 for details. Unique, hand-crafted trio.
