Item Description
1.75” with his photo superimposed on baseball design. As typical for this type of button, there is some air under the cello, most noticeably over his forehead and eye at right but showing only in certain light angles and viewed straight-on not at all apparent. Lower right side has dot and 1/16” black line, both of which are in the printing as made under the cello. The only actual wear is a virtual pinpoint nick on the extreme top edge at 1 o’clock. This barely shows and the button still displays at least N. Mint with full gloss and no stain. Spring pin holds original 4.5” long ribbon plus brass key chain and brass luster baseball and bat charms. A scarce portrait button and one unlikely to be found in any better condition.
