Item Description
Each of these rings from 1989 and 1990 is larger than the so-called “Giant” rings given out by early circus giants. The rings are each fully 2” in dia. and each weighs nearly one-half pound. These rings were used as premiums for the holders of suites in the arena and also the press. Each ring top is identical with text “Pistons World Champions” and with basketball surrounded by blue enamel. The sides of the earlier ring read “1989/Detroit Pistons/Palace/78-21.” Second ring reads “1990 Detroit Pistons/Back/2/Back.” Rings have glossy brass luster and are each essentially Mint as issued. Quite limited.
