Item Description
Brass ring with adjustable bands has very high relief leopard head on the top with surrounding text as quoted and with additional tiny markings left and right “NY” and “WF.” This is one of the 3 examples we’ve seen in 4 decades. No examples had bright gold luster plating and this rather muted brass tone is how this ring was made. This is an outstanding example, N. Mint and displaying Mint. Values in the Hake’s Pop Culture guide are $1,600-Fine and $2,750 N. Mint. Our last example about ten years ago realized $2,250. A conservative opening.
