Item Description
Typically, this ring is from 1941 issued in both brass and silvered brass varieties by American Specialty Co. of Lancaster, PA and given for selling seed packets or Christmas cards. This however, is a version of the ring c. 1950 made of aluminum rather than brass so that the ring base is silver luster while Gene’s highly detailed and realistic portrait has gold accent color. Side panels have his name plus horseshoe and lasso on one side and cowboy hat on opposite side. Pinpoint dot of gold color off his nose but overall superb condition and N. Mint. Scarce.
