Item Description
Each of these is a 1-5/8” dia. tin frame with a clear plastic covering over ball bearings. Each has been glued to a 6.5x11” blue velvet-covered board which has a velvet cover that snaps closed. While these examples are glued down, they could be removed although there would be some glue traces on the underside. These are essentially uncirculated examples from the Green Duck Button Co. archive. The non-Rin-Tin-Tin examples include bear, clown (plastic pushed in on this one), body builder (plastic pushed in on this one), clown closeup, Buster Brown and Tige and one advertising Quaker City Life Ins. Co. One puzzle is glued face-down so the underside displays reading “Nabisco Shredded Wheat Juniors.” Among the Rin Tin Tin items, there are 10 different from the complete set of 12 issued in 1956 by Nabisco. There is a duplicate of “101st Cavalry Trooper” and the two missing are for “Army Wagon” and “Cochise.” A great group about as Mint as they come.
