Item Description
These 1.25” buttons were exceedingly popular around 1950. They come with several portrait variations and several different variations to the name panels. In addition, some include a small copyright symbol. Five of these have some small age marks. These are the closeup version of Alan ‘Rocky’ Lane which has some pinpoint spotting, the first Charles Starrett button which has a little spotting on his forehead, the second Hopalong Cassidy button with a few tiny dots on his cheek and one on the name panel, the second Rex Allen button with a tiny age dot on his chin, and the Rod Cameron button has some darkening of the yellow bkg. at the left side plus a little darkening on the name panel. Seventeen of these 22 buttons remain in Exc. to essentially Mint condition. The ones of extra scarcity would include Dale Evans with copyright symbol, Gabby Hayes with copyright symbol, Jingles, Johnny Mack Brown with copyright symbol, Monty Hale with copyright symbol, Rex Allen red bkg. with copyright symbol and the pair of Roy Rogers buttons.
