Item Description
Lot from the 1950s. First is 8x8” album which opens to total size of 16x16”. Three different albums were issued for Cisco illustrated story bread end labels. This is the first album titled “Boulders & Bullets Story” for labels numbered 1-16. Album opens once to reveal photo of Cisco Kid talking about the labels and next to Tip Top bread loaf. Opens again to reveal the full interior surface with designated areas for mounting of the labels along with story text and related art. Light cover wear but album unused and VF. Lot includes eleven 2.75x2.75” waxed paper labels. Three feature illustrations including #4 and #8 for this album plus #21 from the second series. The others feature photos (no album was produced for these) and from 2 different series, 3 with red borders and 5 with white borders. All are different. Typical scattered trace of wear/aging, labels overall Fine to Exc.
