Item Description
While the Brownies began in the 1880s, these 3 stickpins each about 2.25” tall with .75” figures, date more from the mid-1890s. A sailor character and an Uncle Sam character are painted brass. Minor color loss on the sailor. The third Brownie is multicolor enamel on brass. He holds a pointed hat in one hand. N. Mint. Among the earliest comic character collectibles. VF to N. Mint.
