First is a .75” tall very unusual Mickey charm. A tiny loop holds it to a generic 12” long link neck chain. The charm is comprised of black enamel on his ears, face, upper body and one arm and leg at the right. The arm and leg at the left do not have black enamel and we’re not sure if they ever did. There are 2 miniscule enamel flakes, a dot off one ear and a tiny flake at his waistline. His face and body are accented in tiny clear rhinestones, 4 along his upper jaw line, one on each hand, 3 on his lower pants and 3 on each shoe. The back of the piece is flat, unlike the details of the rounded front, and of a silver metallic color featuring 10 very tiny open areas which is what lets the light into the piece to give the front rhinestones extra sparkle. There is no Disney copyright but the piece quite likely could have come boxed with a copyright on the packaging. Definitely 1930s as Mickey has tiny pie-cuts in his eyes. Only example we’ve seen. Second is black, white and green 7/8” tall enamel on silvered metal depiction of Minnie with her hands clasped before her and her tail wrapping around the lower right. Tiny link holds her to 12” brass link necklace which includes art deco styling on 3 accent pieces above her figure. Minor tarnish on the reverse. Rare and Exc. c. 1930. Last is 7/8” tall fully three dimensional and incredibly detailed wonderful charm of Minnie with hands and fingers extended next to her flared up dress revealing her panties beneath and with her skinny legs in over-sized high-heeled shoes. Charm is attached to 18” generic chain. While the piece is not marked Sterling, we certainly believe it is and on the back is a triangular piece of metal with tiny copyright symbol and corporate initials “WDP.” Minor tarnish, o/w Mint. 1940s. A rare group of 3.
