This is bronze "Lost Wax" casting. Sold in the Disneyana Shop on Main Street in Disneyland in the late 1970s-early 1980s. Gibson also sculpted other classic Disney characters and statues of this sort (see Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck statues #s1660-1662). Blaine Gibson started with Walt Disney Productions in 1939, working on Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Lady And The Tramp, Alice In Wonderland, 101 Dalmations and Sleeping Beauty. It was also Gibson that designed the Walt Disney portrait commemorative gold medal in 1968. N. Mint. Great design.
