14x30x6” deep box contains apparently complete and well-designed set ©1964 Independent Television Corp. Based on Gerry Anderson’s third original marionette TV series. Box has original plain cardboard inserts but these are worn. Right side panel loose but here. Box has additional obvious wear and aging including corner splits, edge tears and aging/staining. Good/VG. Set includes large cardboard punch-out sheet with pieces that assemble space city headquarters. Some loose perforations but all remains complete and intact, sheet shows just lt. aging. Additional play set pieces are hard/soft plastic. As listed on box, this includes “21 Inch Long Fireball XL5, 24 Inch Automatic Spring Powered Track Launcher, Flying Fireball XL1, Jet Car, 2 Jetmobiles, Fireball Transport Truck & Trailer, Firing Tower & 3 Stage Missile, Jet Fuel Tanks, Flying Interceptor Satellite, Automatic Satellite Launcher.” Additionally set has numerous figures including character figures of “Steve Zodiak, Venus, Professor Matic, Commander Zero, Zoony, Robert Robot” in addition to “Space City Astronauts” in a variety of colors and poses. All of these figures and small parts come sealed in original plastic bags. Final item is sticker accent sheet which is complete but some stickers have dried and come loose. Comes with photocopy of detailed article on this set along with reprint of instruction sheet. Plastic parts are Exc. to Mint. One of the best Gerry Anderson-related items. Rarely found complete and in this condition.
