Item Description
First is 2.75x4.25” classic design by James Montgomery flag. While originating in WWI, this has tiny text with a date from March of 1940. A little tanning on the top and bottom gummed areas but o/w totally clean. Second is 4x5” earlier looking design for “U.S. Marines.” This carries date from “9/27/40.” Couple tiny gray marks on the margin. Third is 2x2.5” with text “Remember Pearl Harbor.” Tiny trace of a stamp hinge on the gummed reverse. Last is 1-5/8x5.25” reading “’This Is My War’.” Has tiny text reading “B.F. Goodrich Believes The Realization That – This Is My War – Will Hasten Victory For The United Nations.” Four small sections of stamp hinges on the reverse corners. All pieces display N. Mint to Mint. A very classic group.
