Item Description
Beautifully colored 1.75” button with W&H backpaper. This was a stock design of the company in 1898 and is also known in a 2-1/8” size. Tiny age traces on perimeter of backpaper. Cello is N. Mint and with best quality color. Beneath slogan “On The Way To The Evansville Street Fair” are gold crescent moon and star design with costumed lady seated atop camel flanked by bkg. scenes of palm trees and the pyramids of Giza. Couple of faint pinpoints of age on the right edge barely perceptible. Rare and Exc.
