Item Description
Each is a real photo 1.25” button. There is no maker’s name and no text to positively tie them to the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair but they came with the preceding giant oval picturing the exterior of the “Eskimo Village” attraction “On The Pike” at the fair. First button shows young girl smiling and lying at the entryway of what is apparently an igloo. Button has a numeral “4” at the left. Second with numeral “11” at upper left shows bearded man in parka with sled dog in foreground. Both buttons have open backs with horizontal bar pins. Exc. and displaying Mint. Rare. Also see St. Louis related exposition buttons picturing famed horse Jim Key who could spell and count #606-607.
