Item Description
This rare 1.25” is c. 1930 and has backpaper by Phila. Badge Co. Text is “I Am At Wolbach & Brach’s.” A tiny speck to the right of Santa’s nose is under the cello in the printing. The scene is o/w flawless and the piece is essentially Mint as made. A rather humorous design as between Santa’s large toy pack and his bulging belly he is using both of his mittened hands to leverage himself into the way too small opening of the chimney covered in dramatic icicles. We don’t recall seeing another example of this. Rare.
