Item Description
Each is 1.25”. First with inscription “H. Chagrin” is quite rare design and has backpaper by Bastian c. 1920. Exc. and displays Mint. Second for “Pomeroy’s” is a much-used classic Santa design but rare for this store and in superb condition although with minor pencil mark around name of maker on reverse “Keystone Badge.” Third is uncommon design of Santa accented by holly and bells. Issued for a Christmas savings club sponsored by “Myerstown Trust Co.” This does have a tiny bit of spotting on the rim just at 11 and 2 o’clock and showing little. Still has backpaper by Weber Badge of Reading. Glossy and VF. Last is early button by W&H whose backpaper was used only 1900-1912. Relatively scarce design of Santa wearing holly wreath with young girl next to his cheek. Reads “Visit Santa Claus In The Big Store/O’Gorman Co.” Exc. and displays Mint. A very nice group.
