Item Description
24” long tin litho with built-in key. 1930s. At each end of toy are tunnel entrances which feature great lithography including images on the “New York” entrance of skyscrapers while “New Jersey” entrance depicts houses, church, pond, etc. Both include illustrations in the sky of airplanes and dirigibles. Attached to the toy’s track are 6 vehicles including 2 “Blue Coach” buses, 2 stake trucks and 2 cars, all in different colors. Also attached to track are a pair of lane markers. The die-cut policeman figure at center is a professionally made replacement that is identical to original. Toy works and vehicles travel around the track. Scattered lt. dust soiling and wear with some tiny paint nicks, minor indent to area around built-in key. Fine. Great design.
