Item Description
Rare 1.5” with backpaper by Quimby of Minneapolis depicts young man in motorcycle gear consisting of helmet with goggles, jacket and leather gloves posed with his arms resting on the rim of a tire design encircling him. Text on the tire includes apparent date of “1918” along with tire size “28x2 1/2” Above is company name and below is “Motorcycle Accessories Co. St. Paul.” On the bkg. within the tire design is the text “Ride Masco Tires – And Keep Smiling.” Tiniest traces of age tone on the cream rim but nothing even dark enough to specify in particular. Surface does have some nearly microscopic bumps just a trifle noticeable to the touch. Overall button is VF and displays glossy and N. Mint.
