Item Description
The term “Chicken Inspector” entered popular culture as a title of a 1914 film comedy referring to a guy who keeps a close eye on the ladies. The term also became a staple of 1930s-40s Warner Bros. cartoons. This is an actual large 3” “Chicken Inspector” button with title in large bold letters printed over large profile of chicken with added text “Lambrecht Farms/Brookfield, Wis.” c. 1960s or earlier. The metal reverse has high gloss golden brass luster. No maker’s name. Only one seen. N. Mint, displaying Mint.
