Item Description
1.25” from early 1900s with tin-covered back and vertical pin. Depicted is farmer in derby hat seated on the equipment with one hand holding a tall lever. Tiny text on button curl reads “Armentrout Bros. Buttons, Guthrie, Okla.” Button has just a slight hint of age tone around the letters “TH” of “SOUTHERN.” A rare button maker and a rare product. We know of only one additional example.
