Item Description
15x21” thick plastic sign for attraction at Disneyland, but also appearing over the years at Disney World, Tokyo and Paris. Free-floating canoe experience at Disneyland. Boarding from park’s Critter Country section, up to 20 visitors paddle a canoe around the rivers of America, accompanied by 2 guides. This is the only Disneyland attraction that is powered by park visitors. The attraction originally opened as Indian War Canoes in 1956 as part of Frontierland’s Indian Village Expansion. Back of sign has notation “Launched On 2-27-02.” Attractive sign with design including crossed panels. Laminate top cover has bit of edge peeling but all remains firmly intact. VF. Great Davy item actually used at the park.
