Item Description
3.25x5.75x1.25” tall tin with embossed/figural lid depicting Bonzo the dog, c. 1920s. Container held Cowan & McKay company “Bonzo” toffee. Lid depicts Bonzo begging with his eyes closed. Scattered wear to embossed/raised areas of Bonzo design but Fine- overall. Great figural Bonzo item and an interesting take on an advertising tin. Scarce. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
