14x19-3/16” first and only “Type 2” printing for May 24-26, 1968 concerts at the Carousel Ballroom that were to feature Janis Joplin with Big Brother & The Holding Company although they had to cancel, appearing a few weeks later. Big Brother & The Holding Co. names are crossed out in black felt tip pen from poster at time of performance cancellation. Concert also featured Clara Ward Singers, H.P. Lovecraft and Garden of Delights. Art by Crazy Arab features a Dali-esque design of nude woman on carousel pony riding around mystical merry-go-round as children play in bkg. “Type 1” of this poster is without any inking on Big Brother name. Some minor corner tip wear but Exc. Unusual design.
