Item Description
16.75x17.25x3.25” deep box contains twelve 4.5” tall glass pitchers plus one additional display piece which fits into die-cut slots on box lid. c. 1930s. Box lid states “Free! Shirley Temple Wheaties Pitcher For Your Breakfast Table!” and has a large color portrait on lid. Pitchers were obtained “Free! With 2 Packages Of Wheaties.” Price tag art has empty space for writing in price. Box has moderate wear, 3.25” tear on color picture of Temple which is not that noticeable and blends somewhat with die-cut lid display. Die-cut display slot also has a .5” tear but this does not affect display. Box is VG, pitchers are N. Mint as issued. Rare and the only example we’ve ever seen in our 43 years.
