Item Description
12x18x2” deep box contains complete 22-piece set, #623D. c. 1938. Original box features non-Disney art including 2 girls having a tea party. Around them are flowers with faces and a winged nymph. Complete with insert. Box has obvious all-over aging including some tanning and small scattered moisture stains. Lid has neatly-done corner repairs to splits. Box overall remains structurally sound, color remains strong. VG. Set features nice combination of characters including Donald Duck, Clara Cluck, Donald’s nephews, Goofy and Pluto. This includes different picnic scenes. This is a 22-piece, 6 serving set all tin litho. Largest item is 8x10” serving tray. Also includes six 4” dia. plates, six 2.5” dia. saucers, six 1” tall cups, 2” tall teapot with lid, 1.25” tall open sugar and creamer. Small scattered traces of wear/aging but set retains an unused appearance and overall VF to Exc. Rare to find complete, especially boxed.
