Item Description
First is 1” reading “Free/Student Union” c. 1964 with name of San Francisco maker on the curl Star Engraving Co. Second is 1.5” reading “Abolish The Regents” which has inked notation on back “Free Speech Movement/Berkeley” and we believe this is also c. 1964. Third is 1.25” reading “Freedom Under Clark Kerr” (Kerr was President, University of California ) but the words line up vertically so that the first letters of each spell out “F***.” This button has 1966 copyright and name of underground store in Greenwich Village “Big Store.” All 3 are Exc. and display Mint.
