Item Description
First is 1.75” listed as Hake #2115 but this example has pin holding 5.5” ribbon reading “Vote Straight Republican Tuesday Nov. 4, 1952.” Essentially Mint and complete with Phila. Badge backpaper. Second is large and graphic 4” titled “Our President.” This is Hake #2015 but this example has ribbon attached under metal reverse which is 7.5” long and reads “Lancaster County/Pennsylvania/Inauguration/1953.” Reverse of button has couple of .25” and couple of smaller hairline cello splits by the brass back as produced but all lay totally flat and do not create any bumps on the rim edge. Ribbon has a very faint brown dot by the #3. Left front edge of button has 3/8x1” area with a little air under the celluloid but this largely just shows in reflected light. Overall piece remains exceptionally clean and displays Exc. Pair -
