Item Description
2.25” listed as Hake #4 but the book example does not show the 4.5” ribbon held under the button’s reverse collet. Ribbon reads “Guest Of Central Democratic Club/Harrisburg, PA.” Ribbon has partial loss of gold color most noticeable on only 7 letters but the slogan remains easily readable. Fabric has a diagonal crease but no stain or tears. Overall Fine. The button has high gloss and perfect centering. The white bkg. has very tiny area by the donkey’s tail (and a few scattered pinpoint dots) with trace of gray tone but this is in the printing and likely on most if not all examples. Button’s reverse has 2 tiny nicks on the Keystone Badge backpaper. There is a tiny 1/8” spot where the cello did not tuck under the collet. This makes a tiny bump on the rim edge but barely visible from the front. One of the few examples we know of complete with the ribbon attachment. Extremely Fine.
