Item Description
4x11.5x9.5” cardboard countertop display. Underside mark with name of company who produced the display “Robert Gair Company, Inc./Gair Cartons” with date of 1938. Front of display features image of Mickey and Goofy on opposite sides of a free-wheeling bass drum which reads “Paas Easter Parade/Walt Disney/For Easter Eggs.” Additional images include one of the Funny Little Bunnies playing a tuba and Pluto running. One side panel depicts Mickey while the other depicts Toby Tortoise holding a sign reading “Extra Paas Easter Parade Arrives.” Back of display includes information to dealers including an elaborate window store display that includes large sign and Donald Duck dolls. Comes with pair of identical unused “Transfer-O-S” packs, each 5.5x5.5”. Each contains 4 different transfer sheets to be applied to Easter eggs featuring a total of 37 different images of Mickey, Minnie and their nephew, Donald, Horace, Clarabelle and Pluto. Envelopes also nicely illustrated. Envelopes lightly aged but Exc. with Mint contents. Lt. wear to display, few minor side panel creases and a .25” tear on one side panel.
