Item Description
2.5” dia. by 3” tall tin litho designed like a beehive. Wrap-around scene depicts Mickey holding an empty jar in one hand and a key in the other. He is about to open a locked door on the beehive to retrieve more honey. Also around sides are images of bees and flowers. 1930s marked “Made In Germany/Elbezet.” Underside has trap but missing key. Tiny scattered traces of paint wear but appearance remains bright and glossy. VF. A rare bank. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
