9.5x12x3” deep original but generic box contains complete 21 piece, 6 serving set. Japan, 1930s. Box complete with insert. Moderate scattered box wear with corner split repairs, one side panel missing a 2” piece at corner. Box VG. Set consists of six 1” tall cups with matching saucers, six 4” dia. plates, creamer, sugar with lid and teapot with lid which is 3.5” tall. Pieces feature a total of 6 different scenes which are Mickey at microphone, Mickey as painter, Mickey watering flowers, Mickey playing a horn, Mickey showing Minnie a rabbit and Mickey and Minnie in rowboat. Tiny chip to top rim edge of one teacup and sugar, both only noticeable when viewed closely. Otherwise set is Exc., glossy and attractive with blue iridescent coloring.
