Item Description
1935 by Soreng-Manegold. Lamp has painted tin body with 5” dia., 6.5” tall to top of socket. Version with green body (also came in beige). Around outside surface are 3 identical Mickey decals, each nearly 100% complete. Bottom half has some scattered gray discoloration spots, small trace of green paint wear but retains a very glossy appearance. Original wiring and works. VF. The thin, glossy cardboard shade is 5.25” tall. From a series of six different issued with these lamps, each was numbered. This is #1 and features the Big Bad Wolf playing a harp while the Three Little Pigs play their instruments and dance. All-over typical aging. Some faint scattered crease lines but nothing offensive. Couple of tiny pencil point punctures along bottom rim. Fine. These shades are about 50 times rarer than the lamps and this is only the second time in our 43 years we have offered this particular shade.
