In 1954 Cheerios issued 3 different numbered sets of Disney comics for a total of 24 titles. This lot includes complete set of 8 comics from set 1 plus “Donald Duck In Circus Adventure” from set #2. Set 1 comics feature Mickey, Goofy, Donald and his nephews and Uncle Scrooge with titles “The Fabulous Inventors, The Seafarers, Apache Gold, The Firefighters, Pirate Plunder, Secret of the Ming Vase, Flight to Nowhere, Moaning Mountain.” Sets were issued in mailing envelopes with a single pair of glasses and both of these pieces are included in this lot. Envelope has obvious wear and aging. VG. Cardboard glasses have lenses intact. Moderate aging, few minor creases. Fine. All comics have scattered degree of age spotting to coves but o/w remain totally clean copies with very little additional wear. Fine/VF.
