Item Description
This rare 1.25” jugate is catalogued as Hake #2005 with Revised Prices 2004 value of $2000. This example shows some tiny age traces but it is with an appropriate opening bid. The centering of the slogan is near perfect. The only visual defects are the slightest traces of aging on the extreme rim edge with tiny areas of barely perceptible toning at 3 o’clock, 8 o’clock and 11 o’clock. Very slight additional wear shows only in reflected light and includes virtual pinpoint shallow indent on FDR’s chin but exceedingly minor. Reverse shows a little staining around the collet which has small degree of oxidation. While not perfect, the button presents extremely well with no fading and high gloss.
