Item Description
1” with rim hole as made catalogued in DeWitt/Sullivan as AL1860-89 featuring what DeWitt called Lincoln portrait number 1. The Lincoln emulsion is essentially flawless. The Hamlin emulsion is the same with the exception of tiny pinpoint raised dot on the edge of his head which is a near microscopic emulsion bubble as made and not a crack or chip. The brass rim has vast majority of original luster. N. Mint and quite scarce in this condition.
