Item Description
4.5x4.75x1.75” high. Elaborate hinged case with Trylon & Perisphere photo appearing on top. Gold luster trim to edges top/bottom. Lt. wear to outside case top and snap. Inside case lid reads “Remington Close Shaver Made In USA.” Velvet-covered insert holds 4.25” electric razor with image and text reading “New York World’s Fair 1939/Electric Products Building Remington Rand Hall.” Razor shows little/no wear. Complete with cord and blade cover. Cord is held together with brushed metal band having the same text and image as the razor. Also includes 2.5x3.5” warranty card. Lt. wear. Also 3.25” long generic cleaning brush. A very elaborate presentation. The first electric razor was made in 1928, the first Remington in 1937. This is an early Remington set. Overall VF. Only the second we’ve ever offered in our 43 years.
