Item Description
10.5x18x1.5” deep box contains set by Rosebud Art Co., Inc., 1950s. Not only the most unusual item we’ve seen for this kids program but by far the rarest. Lid features photo of Jon Hall as Raymar along with illustration of him standing next to bamboo hut with science objects shown at the hut’s opening. Moderate scattered wear to lid with color rubs along edges, 1” surface paper pull at bottom center, one corner split. VG. Box insert holds contents in place and appears to be missing 2 minor pieces but largely complete and unused. Includes a detailed instruction booklet with Raymar photo on the cover. Other items include 3 unused sheets of litmus paper, 6 different bottles of chemicals, wood test tube holder with pair of test tubes, miscellaneous tools. Pair of tongs and 1 tin dish have noticeable rust as does surrounding box insert area. Otherwise set shows just general scattered aging as boxed. First we’ve seen in our 43 years.
