Item Description
Lot of 3 including 6.25x8.5” Quaker Puffed Wheat box back with perforated premium goggles from 1952. “For Protection Against Sun Glare And Snow Blindness.” Box back has color portrait image of Preston wearing goggles and includes 3-piece, punch-out goggles with “Sgt. Preston Trail Goggles” text and “Sgt. Preston Of The Yukon” symbol/logo between eyes. Additional Sgt. Preston name and portrait on each arm of goggles. Handling wear with creasing and aging. A few loose perforations but goggles remain intact. Fine with VF goggles. Comes with pair of 1-7/8x5.75” wide assembled goggles. VF overall. Last item in lot is 7.5x10.5” newspaper clipping for ad for these goggles. Also shows Quaker Puffed Wheat/Rice and Quaker Muffets Shredded Wheat cereal boxes that these goggles were available on. Uneven edges with .25x.5” chip missing at bottom right corner but Fine.
