Item Description
5.5x13x19.5” open-faced display box contains 17” tall (to top of hair) doll. By Ideal ©1965 Chicago Tribune/NY News Syndicate, Inc. Box has 12 color comic panels on sides with text reading “Mr. & Mrs. Dick Tracy, Jr. (The Moon Maid) Announce The Birth Of Their Daughter – Little Honey Moon.” Side panel text includes “Removable Space Helmet, She Cries, Special ‘Moon Hair’ Can Be Washed And Combed, Soft Cuddly Body.” Missing original cellophane window. Noticeable wear/splits to lid with two 1” tears along window. VG. Vinyl body doll has fabric outfit with silver luster accents. Pigtails appear through top of removable plastic helmet. Box insert designed with stars and moon. Doll itself is Exc. Doll is seldom seen, especially boxed. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
