Item Description
3x3” base by 5.25” tall. 1930s. Painted ceramic. Text on teeth reads “Coon-Chicken/Inn.” Back of base reads “Copyright M.L. Graham,” the original owners of the inn. Base sides read “Coon Chicken Inn/Seattle-Portland/Salt Lake.” The original felt on the bottom has text “Nationally Famous Coast To Coast/Coon Chicken Inn/Seattle Portland Salt Lake.” Felt has noticeable wear, but text is legible. Red glitter-covered band appears around hat. Hairline on back of hat opening. Age crazing visible under close inspection. Overall Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with COA.
