Lot of 2. First 7.5x9.5” image area in large vintage adirondack style wood frame c. pre-1900. Text on mat reads “H.J. Rossiter’s Indian River Views, Rockledge, Fla.” Image shows well-dressed ladies and men posed behind 6 alligators, 3 of which have their legs tied behind them. Many have ropes around their necks and the ropes are being held by the onlookers. A well-dressed black girl appears in the front of the line. Signs on buildings in bkg. reads “Headquarters For Fishing Tackle, Guns & Ammunition/Rockledge Pharmacy.” Frame has Lt. wear, Fine. Mat has Lt. dust soiling,VF. Image area Exc.
