Item Description
First is 10x36.5” panoramic photo taken at the Mayflower Hotel May 14, 1948. Text on photo includes “President Harry S. Truman, Guest Of Honor.” Truman is seen clearly seated to the left of the podium. Photo has been rolled. Next are 3 glossy 8x10” press release photos. Next is 9.25x11.75” color print of Truman by Harris and Ewing. Followed by 4.25x11” folded “Guide Ballot” for the general election of 1948. Truman and Barclay are listed, however Dewey and Warren are highlighted in this example. Folded (likely as issued). Lot also includes 4.75x7” Jefferson-Jackson victory dinner invitation “In Honor Of The President And Mrs. Truman” along with the official dinner program (8.5x11”) featuring photos of both Truman and Barclay dated 1950. Last is 3 TIME magazines with Truman covers from 1945-49-51. All items are Fine to Exc. A nice grouping.
