8.5x11-3/8” stiff paper covers with nice front and back cover art showing Secret Agent X-9 looking at Chinese dragon symbol. #8 in the series known as Feature Books published by Dell ©1937 King Features Syndicate, Inc. Contains 48 bw pages of text story and nice illustration by Charles Flanders. Cover shows moderate handling wear/aging with pinch creases at spine and small tears along staples, 3” spine split at top. 3” archival tape repair to tear at top center margin of front cover. Good. Pages show aging and corner tip wear with scattered age spotting. VG overall. Scarce. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
