3-5/8x7x.25” deep window display box contains 12 generic colored pencils which show signs of use. ©1929 King Features Syndicate though c. 1930s. By Eagle Pencil Co. Great box design shows Popeye with colored pencils drawing picture of “Olive Oyl By Popeye” and word balloon reading “Blow Me Down! Ya Kin Draw Pretty Pitchers With These Pencils.” Back panel shows Popeye with Wimpy with Popeye saying “What Will You Pay Me To Draw Yer Pitcher, Wimpy” and Wimpy replies “I Will Gladly Accept A Hamburger As My Fee For Posing.” Box has scattered aging and .25x.5” and .5x.75” area of staining at top and bottom. VG+. 2.75x7x.5” deep box contains 12 pieces of colored chalk by the American Crayon Co. ©1929 KFS but c. 1930s. Front of box has nice image of Popeye delivering huge hamburger to Wimpy and back shows Popeye with children. Box shows scattered aging and wear and is Fine+.
